Joel Macdonald, a former professional athlete turned technology entrepreneur, is focused on scaling early-stage tech ventures.

Over the past decade, he’s founded and operated a range of tech companies, raising over $100 million and generating revenues surpassing $30 million, including two IPOs, m&a transactions and 1 exit (acquisition).

Joel’s journey started with him co-founding Zwype, a hospitality platform, which merged into a major tech group. He’s known for his achievements in tech and sports and supports various charitable organizations.

He went on to build Liquorun.com, one of Australia’s first alcohol e-commerce platforms. He then ventured into on-demand logistics and delivery software. Recognizing its potential, he took the software company public as CEO in 2016, raising $75 million and achieving significant revenue and shareholder growth.

Fascinated by emerging technologies, Joel now advises entrepreneurs in digital assets and allocates capital to promising ventures through his family office.
